a season of kindness immersion
softening into grace
An immersion into a more gentle way of being.
June — July — August
Where you’re held, not hurried.
to the women who are;
ready to welcome more self kindness, compassion and ease into your heart and everyday life, and who don’t want another task, course, program or protocol to add to your endless to-do list, then
softening into grace— is made for you.
And eldest daughters—
I see you (because I’m one too), smiling reading this, thinking of a loved one who could do with more self love because you’re forever thinking of and helping
all the people in your life—
what if; you gave yourself the same love, care and kindness, you give others?
May this season be one of allowing yourself the grace to soften into self kindness and compassion.
g. xx
Come as you are—
meet yourself with gentle grace,
kindness and compassion…
for who you once were,
for who you are now,
for who you are becoming,
and all the spaces in between.
welcome to softening into grace
What is softening into grace:
At it’s heart, Softening into Grace is a season of self kindness and compassion, over the naturally slower, more inward time of winter.
But let’s also be clear on what it isn’t. This is not a course, program or another thing to add to your daily to-do list, or make you feel more overwhelmed or stressed.
Softening into Grace is a way of being— kinder, more compassionate with yourself.
Learning to live more gently, soften your harsh edges, quieten your inner critic, meet yourself where you are at, and treat yourself with the same kindness you reserve for others. It’s an immersion.
This kinder way of being requires gentle grace, patience and practice— lived experience— so that it becomes an embodied way of being. There is no quick fix, wellness hack or short-cut, just the daily practice of being kind to you. And after 30+ years of living and practicing this way of being, I 100% know this to be true! This is why we are doing a season of kindness—to immerse ourselves— into the art and practice of self compassion.A little more on what it is—-
It’s an immersion into being kind, not doing kind (and yes, there’s a difference)
It’s a space to soften. To slow. To allow grace in.
It’s an invitation to meet yourself with kindness, not comparison.
It’s a space where you’re held, not hurried.
It’s an invitation to be gentle, not judgemental.
It’s where you’re allowed to be— unlearning, learning, remembering and reconnecting.
It’s a season of gentleness, softly guided, reminded and supported, through the slower months of winter— with warmth, care and community. Why I created this journey into self kindness for you:
To be able to give yourself the space and grace of self compassion and kindness, even when it feels hard and uncomfortable— for whatever reasons, not feeling ‘whole’ or ‘enough’ or ‘worthy’ of self love, because of our inner stories/beliefs of shame, judgment, etc— is the biggest gift you can give to your body’s wellbeing (and healing journey).
It’s a practice and way of being that is close to my heart.
I said previously, this practice of self kindness has been in my life for over 30 years but it wasn’t until 5 years ago, whilst going through my own health and subsequent healing journey, that I truly learnt and grasped the subtle (yet powerful) difference of being in the practice, rather than doing the practice. It’s this softer, subtler approach that has changed so much for me over the last five years, which is why I’m called to share— what I’ve learnt from my own experiences as well as from supporting others— and remembering, that this practice of self kindness, is very much that, an everyday practice.
Have you ever felt like something is missing?
We can do all the health and wellness practices, protocols and hacks in the world, but if we aren’t being kind to ourselves, then we’re missing the most vital ingredient, to living and being—truly—well. After listening to others.
Over the years of working with and conversing with people (in my community, out socially and in my DM’s), everything always leads back to not giving ourselves the space or grace to soften into self kindness.Understanding self kindness is a journey (and ongoing practice).
If your journey with self kindness has been a little like mine and others I’ve spoken with over the years— on-and-off, felt harder than you thought it would, something you struggle to maintain or non-existent— then I would love you to come join us for this gentle immersion over the winter season.Who is this for:
